Wall Mounted Display Cabinet

A wall mounted display cabinet in English Chestnut. This design incorporates a large glass door and glass shelving to allow the best display of the contents. The cabinet was designed to house a collection of carvings by craftsman Ken Luckhurst. The large glass door and shelves help to optimise light within the space, aiding the illumination of the pieces on display. The design features hand cut through dovetails, and strong vertical bevels which run the full length of the cabinet. This piece is finished in Danish oil which reveals the grain of the timber to its best advantage.

Drawers

There are two small drawers at the base of the unit, and these are traditionally constructed with hand cut dovetails. The drawers are lined with Cedar of Lebanon which fragrances the drawers beautifully.
